Hello there! I am a fourth year PhD student at Robotics research centre (RRC) IIIT Hyderabad under the guidance of Dr. K. Madhava Krishna. My current work is on pose estimation, visual servoing and path planning for a 6 DOF manipulator. My research interest includes: Path Planning, collision avoidance, Machine learning. My research is supported by Tata Consultancy Services(TCS) PhD Fellowship.

Identifying ragas in Indian Music

Raga is the central structure of Indian classical music characterized by an approximately repeating sequences or subsequences of notes. Automatically recognizing Raga from a short audio segment has several interesting applications in digital music indexing, recommendation and retrieval. We attempted to identify the ragas by capturing two important characteristic features of Indian music - pakads and gamakas. Specifically, we solve the raga classification problem in a non-linear SVM framework using a kernel formed by the combination of two kernels to capture raga similarities in pakads and gamakas space.

Android App for cab sharing

Cab pooling is always win-win situation for customers and ride provides, as result they are in demand now a days. The ride provider hosts a ride giving source and destination. Any user could search for nearest available rides. Customer preferences like are taken care and they are charged accordingly.

Collision avoidance and SLAM on amigobot

For simultaneous localization and map generation in unknown environment for amigobot on ROS platform. Path planning for amigobot from source to destination in a dynamic environment using obstacle cone.

Remote Delivery analysis and optimization for Korea Telecom

Responsibilities included: Drive test analysis in detail through Gladiator G-Station, call events failure root cause analysis and recommending optimizations. Configuration parameters audit and recommending parameter optimization/fine tuning. KPI trending automation and worst cells identifications & performance analysis

Planning and implementing 3G in Mumbai Circle for Vodafone

(June 2010 - February 2011)
Technologies Used: LTE, Gladiator

Responsibilities included: Successful Completion of SCFT for 1500 sites in Mumbai supervising 27 Drive Test Engineers. Optimization and Acceptance Test for Mumbai Circle. Automation for CCR forms generation for Vodafone Mumbai and Idea(Gujarat, Maharastra and Madhya Pradesh Region).
